Born and raised in Clearwater's North Greenwood community, I am homegrown.  I was born at Morton Plant Hospital and am the oldest of three Scott children.  My education stems from Community Pride Child Care, Dunedin Elementary and Middle Schools, and Calvary Christian High School.  I am a Proud graduate of Clearwater High School and St. Petersburg College.

Service for me is not just something I do but also who I am.  As a youth, I was taught the value of service.  I was raised on the principle that you ought to treat others the way you want to be treated.  I enjoy helping others, solving problems, and creating opportunities.  My love for service is not just something I say but how I carry myself.  Service is why I was chosen to receive the 2019 Anne Frank Humanitarian Award.  I serve the way I do, as often as I do, for one reason - for the LOVE OF PEOPLE.  I love being a public servant.

Over the years, I have learned that in our lives, there are those of us who are cultivated leaders and others who are created leaders.  I happen to fall in the latter.  Teachers have talked about my leadership capabilities for as long as I can remember.  It is why I was made a safety patrol in elementary school. My adaptability and ability to lead leaders qualified me to be a Freedom Ambassador at Clearwater High School.  A leader does not have to be the smartest or in charge.  Brian Tracy said, "Become the kind of leader that people would follow voluntarily, even if you had no title or position."  That is my leadership motto.

Therefore, as a candidate for Clearwater City Council Seat 3, I am not asking you to elect me to council so I can begin to lead.  I am not asking you to elect me to council so that I may begin to serve.  I am asking you, the residents of Clearwater, to elect a "proven servant" to the Clearwater City Council.  Considering this, I expect that on March 19, 2024, the residents of Clearwater - by voting - will demand a new level of service.  That service shall come from me, who will work to ensure that our city is INCLUSIVE, OPPORTUNISTIC, and FURTURISTIC for all residents.  I look forward to serving as your NEXT Councilman.
